These Terms of Use apply to Ghost Sub Learn, a Windows desktop app for local AI subtitle generation and real-time translation overlays.

License

Unless a separate license agreement states otherwise, Ghost Sub Learn is provided under a single-user license. The licensed user may use the app for personal, study, freelance, or business purposes, subject to Microsoft Store terms. The license does not transfer ownership of the app, its design, or its related materials.

Permitted use

You may use Ghost Sub Learn to generate subtitles, display translation overlays, and export subtitle files for content that you have the right to access and process. You are responsible for complying with applicable laws, platform rules, and content rights.

AI-generated results

AI-generated subtitles and translations may be incomplete, inaccurate, delayed, or contextually incorrect. You should review output before using it for study, accessibility, publication, professional work, or any situation where accuracy matters.

Service availability

Ghost Sub Learn is provided as is and as available. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, error-free output, compatibility with every video file, or availability of every model or external service.

External services

The app may communicate with external services for AI model downloads, diagnostic error reporting, and Microsoft Store purchase, installation, update, and app entitlement services. These services may be necessary for installation, updates, support, or continued access to Microsoft Store app entitlements.

Refunds and support

Purchases, refunds, billing issues, and app entitlements are handled by Microsoft Store. For product support, follow the guidance on the support page or contact support@ghostsub.ai.
